Benegas

This is one of the very few super-premium Mendoza blends which does not rely on Malbec as a component. It never has and we don’t think it ever will, because this wine has been around a long time and it is a winning formula of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc (Benegas have some of the best in Argentina), Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wine is matured for 18 months in new French oak, with a further 12 months in bottle prior to release. This is a true classic wine of Mendoza, incredibly intense in every respect and just the thing for those seeking a proper ding-dong on the palate.
