The Single Vineyard wines from Mil Volcanos take things up several notches both in terms of concentration and finesse. This Cab Franc fruit is from Los Sauve in the Uco at just under 980 MASL. It harnesses beautifully those much-loved varietal aromatics – wild red fruits and a blast of bell pepper – but also offers tantalising notes of sun-ripened tomato and allspice. The wine spends 10 months in second and third use French oak barrels prior to release.
