Amélie Le Rosé 2023
Serodes & Kovač
This crisp, delicate dry rosé is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes grown on vineyards in the foothills of the Pyrénées mountains.
Lovely strawberry and red cherry aromas give way to a fresh, fruity character in the mouth. Unashamedly crafted in the Provence style but such amazing value by comparison and, if anything, possessing much more charm and generosity of fruit than most.
There’s a nice story behind the Amélie label, as depicted on the back of the bottle by her dad, Boris Kovac… One day while I was tasting wines from barrels, when my daughter Amélie was just 4 years old, she showed me a drawing she had done on the back of my tasting notes… these pretty flowers. I was inspired to create a label for my wines, characterised by their freshness and elegance.
