Founded in 1834, Bodega Aizpurua is the oldest winery in this beautiful coastal region, situated in Getaria, halfway between sea-level and the top of the mountain that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Getariako Txakolina D.O. is in Spain’s far north-western Gipuzkoa Province in the Basque Country with some 400 hectares under vine, planted mainly in the coastal areas.
