Rías Baixas Albariño 2020
Cultivated vines in the municipality of As Neves within the commune of Tea County, in an idyllic setting bathed by the river Miño. Very slow fermentation with autochthonous yeasts at low temperature, extracting optimum aroma and freshness. The wine has contact with fine lees for several weeks and is then stabilized and filtered to give beautiful, bright clarity before bottling. Pale lemon-yellow colour with greenish hints, with subtle notes of white flowers such as jasmine and orange blossom on the nose, followed by notes of sweet apple and dried herbs finishing with an intriguing saline slap. A quite stunning expression of Albariño, rather more ‘serious’ than most examples on the market.
