70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay; notes of citrus fruits, raspberry, peach and freshly baked bread on the nose; lovely mouthfeel with a soft, fine mousse; fabulous balance and length. The wine is a pale pink colour (largely Pinot Noir) and when we asked the guys why they don’t call this Casa Boher Rosé, they shrugged their proverbial shoulders and said… “because we’ve already got a rosé!” Fair enough. Either way, this is a very convincing sparkling wine.
